Sharpin Remote Commander

The source-code distribution of Sharpin Remote Commander is released under the MIT License. The complete license text is included in the repository/package as LICENSE.

The MIT License permits use, copying, modification, merging, publication, distribution, sublicensing and sale of copies of the software, subject to the license conditions. In particular, the copyright notice and permission notice must be included in copies or substantial portions of the software.

The MIT License applies to the distributed software code. Access to an operator-hosted Sharpin Remote Commander service is separately governed by the hosted Terms of Service.

No affiliation with similarly named projects

Sharpin Remote Commander is an independent implementation. Compatibility goals and architectural inspiration do not create an affiliation with Desktop Commander, OpenAI or other third parties. If source code from another project is ever incorporated, its original license/attribution must be preserved in this file and in the distributed source as required by that license.

Direct Python dependencies in the relay

The production relay currently declares these direct dependencies. Each remains governed by its own license:

• FastAPI — MIT License
• Uvicorn — BSD-3-Clause
• cryptography — Apache-2.0 OR BSD-3-Clause
• Psycopg / psycopg_pool — LGPL-3.0-only
• redis-py — MIT License

Transitive dependencies also retain their own licenses. Production release engineering should generate and archive a dependency/SBOM report for the exact shipped versions and preserve all notices required by those licenses.

Product and company names used to describe compatibility may be trademarks of their respective owners. No trademark license is granted by this notice.
